Q&A

Every dollar you donate goes directly into an endowment — a fund designed to generate returns forever. The profits from that fund are distributed quarterly to feed children in Utah schools. None of your donation is spent on salaries, marketing, or operations. It all goes to work — permanently.

An endowment is a permanent fund where the principal (your donation) is invested and only the earnings are spent. This allows your gift to have an everlasting impact — feeding children not just once, but year after year, forever.

Morgan Stanley manages the endowment professionally. They take a very small 0.01% annual management fee to grow the fund responsibly and securely. Their role is purely financial management — ensuring sustainability and growth for generations to come.

Zero. Not a single penny of your donation goes toward salaries, marketing, or fundraising. The only unavoidable cost is the small credit-card processing fee charged by Stripe. Everything else — from the website to operations — is donated by generous volunteers and partners.

Each quarter, 70% of the investment profits are distributed to Utah schools to pay off or prevent school lunch debt. The remaining 30% stays invested to help the fund grow — increasing the amount we can give in the future.

Yes. You can donate to specific schools or to the statewide fund for Utah. All donations are tracked carefully so funds reach the schools you care most about.
